Why I made this
I built a video journal that never sends your face to me.
I made it on my own, because I kept abandoning written journals. I've had about six of them, and every time, the blank page was just too challenging for me.
So in this one you talk instead. You talk for a minute, and your phone writes it all down. Months and even years later, you can search everything you've ever said, tap on a word, and jump to the exact second you said it.
There's no account, and there's no server. I couldn't read your entries even if I wanted to, because there's nowhere for me to look. It's totally private. That was the first decision I made, and I built everything else around it.
My app is called Tell Anew. You can tell a new story, tell a new idea, tell a new entry.
The beta is free, and there's nothing to buy in it. If you'd record with it for two weeks and then tell me where it falls apart, sign up for the beta.
